AerCap Signs Lease Agreements With JD Airlines for Four Boeing 737-800BCF Freighters

AerCap has today announced the signing of lease agreements for four 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) with JD Airlines, for delivery in 2024.

On Wednesday (June 12, 2024), AerCap Holdings announced the signing of lease agreements with JD Airlines for four Boeing 737-800BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) airplanes, for delivery during 2024. JD Airlines is the cargo airline of JD Logistics, also known as Jingdong Logistics. The leased aircraft will be operated on behalf of JD Logistics, a subsidiary of JD.com, a leading Chinese supply chain-based technology and service provider. Based at Nantong Xingdong International Airport, the aircraft will serve major economic hubs in Nantong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Wuxi, as well as across Asia. Currently, AerCap has three Boeing 737-800BCF on lease to JD Airlines.
In Wednesday’s announcement, AerCap Cargo’s Head, Rich Greener, said,
