From the 2022 Farnborough International Airshow today, AerCap Cargo announced the signing of lease agreements for six Boeing 737-800BCF with GOL. Three of the aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2022, with the remaining three to be delivered in 2023.
On Monday (July 18, 2022), from the 2022 Farnborough International Airshow in the UK, AerCap Cargo announced the signing of lease agreements with GOL for six 737-800 BCF (Boeing Converted Freighters). The six converted passenger-to-freight airplanes will be operated for a Latin American e-commerce company as part of the growth strategy for GOLLOG, the airline’s logistics business unit and will be based in Brazil, providing cargo service across South America. Three of the aircraft will be delivered in 2022, while the remaining three will be delivered in 2023. AerCap Cargo has over 25 years of experience in the leasing of freighters, including more than 100 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) conversions.
In today’s announcment, AerCap’s Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Anderson, said,

These 737-800BCFs will be a versatile addition to GOL’s fleet, allowing them to respond to the increased demand from e-commerce retail businesses in South America.
