AEGEAN Announces Latest Edition of Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Program

AEGEAN continues investing in the next generation of Aircraft Engineers in Greece with the launch of a new cycle of their Training Scholarship Program.

On Tuesday (June 10, 2025), AEGEAN announced a new cycle of their Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Program.  Candidates will receive comprehensive training and immediate employment opportunities, and applications are now open through July 4, 2025. This initiative is part of the carrier’s ongoing commitment to support youth and employment in Greece, while investing in the future of aviation professionals through comprehensive, high-quality education and practical training programs.   

Launched in 2022, the 24-month training program combines in class modules and practical on-the-job training at AEGEAN’s new Technical Base.  Through the program, 20 participants will have the opportunity to complete their education for obtaining the B1.1 Category Aircraft Maintenance License (Part-66).  AEGEAN’s scholarship covers 50 percent of the tuition fees, while the top three graduates will receive additional funding to cover 100 percent, 75 percent, or 50 percent of the remaining tuition, based on their academic performance.  Graduates will also have access to direct employment opportunities, as they can start their career path at AEGEAN Technics upon obtaining their licenses.       

The application period for the Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Program, offered in collaboration with the well-known Olympic Air Maintenance Training Organization, will remain open until Friday, July 4, 2025.  Candidates are welcome to submit their applications via completing the relevant form on AEGEAN's website.  For more information about AEGEAN’s Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Program, please click here.
