Vistara has launched inaugural nonstop service between Delhi and Tokyo-Haneda under the air bubble between India and Japan. The first 787-9 Dreamliner flight departed Delhi on Wednesday at 03:00 IST and landed in Tokyo at 1450 IST.
On Wednesday (July 7, 2021), Vistara announced the launch of inaugural service between Delhi and Tokyo-Haneda which departed Delhi at 03:00 IST and landed in Tokyo at 14:50 IST. The route will be operated once-weekly on Wednesdays, with the return flight departing Haneda on Thursdays. Vistara will accept all guests who meet the visa/entry requirements of both countries. The carrier recommends that customers fully understand the applicable guidelines before booking travel.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Vistara’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Leslie Thing, said,
“We are delighted to take India’s finest airline to Japan and provide an unmatched flying experience to our customers that exemplifies modern Indian hospitality with the highest global standards in safety, hygiene and operations. We look forward to further strengthening our presence on this new route in the coming months.”
