United Airlines is adding 44 flights to Las Vegas for CES 2022. In early January, the carrier will add 14 new flights between Las Vegas and San Jose, Boston, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, as well as 30 flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Newark and Washington D.C.
On Friday (November 12, 2021), United Airlines announced the addition of 44 flights for the CES 2022, the tech industry’s most influential annual event, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 5th through 8th, 2022. Starting in early January, the carrier will add 14 flights between Las Vegas and San Jose, Boston, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, as well as 30 additional flights to Las Vegas from San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York/Newark and Washington D.C./Dulles. The added flights represent a 37 percent increase in United’s usual January Las Vegas schedule. During the peak arrival days of January 3-4, the carrier will offer 81 flights to Las Vegas, as well as 109 flights on peak departure days from January 8-10.
In Friday’s announcement, United Airlines’ SVP – Domestic Planning and United Express, Ankit Gupta, said,
“The return of in-person conferences and events is a very positive sign in the pandemic recovery, and United is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this increase in demand. We’re adding about 80% of the capacity we did for CES in 2020, demonstrating that business travel is on the rebound and our customers are eager to reunite with clients and colleagues.”
