For Winter 2023/24, TUI UK will offer two weekly charter flights from London Gatwick to Marsa Alam in Egypt. With eight new resorts now on sale, travelers can book flight-only and travel packages to this lesser known destination, only five hours from the UK.
On Tuesday (February 28, 2023), TUI UK announced the launch of new twice weekly charter service between London Gatwick (LGW) and Marsa Alam International Airport (RMF) in Egypt for the winter 2023/24 season. Eight new resorts are now on sale, and travelers can book flight-only or package holidays with TUI. While Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada are very popular, the more discreet Marsa Alam offers British holidaymakers a brand new experience. Located 200 miles south of Hurghada, Marsa Alam International Airport offers short transfer times to the eight new hotels on offer.
In Tuesday’s announcement, TUI UK’s Commercial Director, Richard Sofer, said,
“We’re extremely excited to start taking guests to Marsa Alam. Egypt is an incredible holiday destination and great value, and I’m thrilled that we’re now able to give visitors the opportunity to discover a whole new region of the country. Our charter flights will be departing from Gatwick twice a week, giving travellers plenty of opportunity to jet across the globe and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
