TAP Air Portugal has inaugurated their new route between Lisbon and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The carrier will offer three weekly flights on the route with an Airbus A330-900neo. Roundtrip fares from Lisbon to Punta Cana start at €403.
On Monday (December 13, 2021), TAP Air Portugal announced that they have inaugurated new service between Lisbon and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The carrier will operate the route three times per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with an Airbus A330-900neo. The flights depart Lisbon at 17:00 and arrive in Punta Cana at 21:20. The return flight departs Punta Cana at 23:05 and arrives at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon at 10:35 the next morning. TAP is offering roundtrip fares on the route from only €403, including taxes.
TAP’s Airbus A330-900neo features the new Airspace by Airbus cabin and is configured with 34 Executive Business Class, 168 Economy and 96 EconomyXtra seats. The aircraft’s cabin includes Wi-Fi and has an updated, modern design, with a deeper recline in Economy Class and more legroom in EconomyXtra. The Economy seats offer a 31 inch pitch, while EconomyXtra offers a pitch of 34 inches. Executive Business Class offers 34 new full-flat seats that are over six feet when fully reclined, as well as USB and power outlets, headphone connections, individual reading lights and ample storage.
TAP’s ‘Book With Confidence’ policy allows full booking change flexibility on all tickets, including Discount tickets. Travelers can now change the date, destination, or leave the ticket open, without fees on travel booked until February 28, 2022. There is no change fee or limit on changes, though a fare difference may apply.
