TAAG Angola Airlines’ Airbus A220-300s and Boeing 787 Dreamliners on order will be delivered with the carrier’s new livery. TAAG’s first Airbus A220-300 is scheduled for delivery during the third quarter of 2024.
On Tuesday (July 9, 2024), TAAG Angola Airlines announced that the Airbus A220-300s and Boeing 787 Dreamliners they have on order will be delivered with the carrier’s new livery. Reflecting the ‘Angola vibe’, the paint and visual identity of the livery will feature the Palanca, the black antelope considered a national symbol, on the aircraft’s tail and winglets. TAAG’s first Airbus A220-300 is scheduled for delivery during the third quarter of 2024. The 137-passenger aircraft will feature 12 Business Class and 125 Economy Class seats. The carrier faces a number of upcoming challenges, including the transition of flights to the new Dr. António Agostinho Neto Luanda International Airport in Q4 2024, and the upcoming market transition to the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM). In this regard, TAAG is implementing a strategic plan to increase their fleet size and introduce new routes to foster regional connectivity.
