Swoop to Launch New Nonstop Service From Victoria to Las Vegas and Puerta Vallarta
Swoop will launch twice-weekly nonstop flights from Victoria to Las Vegas starting October 31, 2021. Additionally, flights between Victoria and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico will be offered once-weekly on Sundays.

On Thursday (June 24, 2021), Swoop announced the launch of nonstop flights between Victoria International Airport (YYJ) and McCarran International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas from October 31, 2021. The Victoria-Las Vegas route will be operated twice-weekly on Thursdays and Sundays and tickets are now available for booking. Flights between Victoria and Puerto Vallarta’s Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) will operate once-weekly on Sundays, with tickets on sale from June 30, 2021. Additionally, today Swoop celebrated their inaugural flight between Toronto and Victoria with flight WO 424 arriving in Victoria at 12:38 and returning to Toronto at 13:30. Swoop now offers point-to-point service from Victoria to Toronto and Edmonton.
Speaking on the new routes from Victoria, Swoop’s Head of Commercial and Finance, Bert van der Stege, said,

Today Swoop will celebrate our inaugural flight from Toronto to Victoria and we are thrilled to be furthering our commitment to Greater Victoria by bringing more service and ultra-low fares to the region.”
Also commenting on Swoop’s Victoria expansion, Victoria Airport Authority’s President and CEO, Geoff Dickson, said,
