STARLUX Airlines will launch new Airbus A330neo service between Taipei and Bangkok from June 1st. The carrier has also deployed A330neos on routes between Taipei and Manila, and will launch widebody service to Ho Chi Minh City on June 18, 2022.
On Wednesday (May 25, 2022), STARLUX Airlines (Xingyu Airlines) announced that they will launch service with their brand new Airbus A330neo from Taipei to Bangkok starting June 1st, 2022. The carrier now has two Airbus A330neos in their fleet and has commenced widebody service between Taipei and Manila, and will launch A330neo service to Ho Chi Minh City on June 18, 2022. Since launching operations in 2020, STARLUX Airlines has continued to expand their regional Asian network with their Airbus A321neos. This year, the carrier introduced Airbus A330neo service, which includes a cabin design that created a brand new version of the STARLUX five-sense experience.
STARLUX Airlines’ A330neos are configured with 297 seats, including 28 Business Class and 269 Economy Class seats. The Business Class cabin features fully lie-flat seats, wide aisles, seat partitions and ample personal storage space. In Economy Class, guests will enjoy a new ultra-thin seatback design offering more legroom, along with a 6-way adjustable leather headrest, tablet racks, cup holders and other thoughtful touches. The A330neo cabins are also equipped with 4K HD Bluetooth-enabled IFE screens. Additionally, the carrier has launched ‘Xingyuxiang 2.0’ a new onboard fragrance, as well as an upgraded range of coffee drinks. Depending on market conditions, STARLUX also plans on launching A330neo service on other routes such as Japan and Singapore during the second half of 2022.

Launched in 2020, STARLUX currently operates seven 188-seat Airbus A321neos and two 297-seat Airbus A330neos. The airline’s main hub is located at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, located about 25 miles west of Taipei. STARLUX guests enjoy a carefully curated inflight experience including a playful animated 3D safety video, specially designed seats, an exclusive cabin fragrance and boarding music by renowned jazz artist Peter White. STARLUX has designed the entire flight experience to satisfy the five senses of each passenger. Flights on departure from Taiwan feature Business Class meals prepared by the Michelin-starred Chef Lam Ming Kin of Taiwanese restaurant Longtail, while Economy Class guests enjoy a menu created by the renowned Japanese-Style restaurant Hutong in Taiwan.
