Southwest Airlines Announces Nonstop Service to Steamboat Springs, Colorado From December 19, 2020

Southwest Airlines announced on Thursday that they have extended their published schedule from early January through April 11, 2021. The carrier will also launch nonstop service to Steamboat Springs, Colorado from December 19, 2020.

On Thursday (August 13, 2020), Southwest Airlines announced an extension of their published flight schedule through April 11, 2021 as well as new service to Steamboat Springs, Colorado from December 19, 2020. To celebrate the new destination, flights are now available for purchase for a low as $49 one-way between Denver and Steamboat Springs and from $69 one-way from Dallas to Steamboat Springs. The special introductory fares will be available until 11:59 PM (Central Time) on August 20, 2020. The seasonal service to Steamboat Springs will operate through April 5, 2020 and will operate to the Hayden/Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN). Service between Denver and Steamboat Springs will operate three-times daily, while service from Dallas will operate once per day on Saturdays and Sundays. In Thursday’s Announcement, Southwest Airlines’ Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Watterson said,


“This year, Customers are looking to experience more of the nation’s great outdoors. By linking both Denver and Dallas nonstop to Steamboat Springs, Customers across a majority of our network will be able to reach the Rocky Mountains. As we look toward the winter months, we know our hassle-free and pro-Customer policies like skis fly free, bags fly free and no change fees will give travelers extra peace of mind when booking their much-needed winter getaways.”


Also commenting on Southwest’s new service to Steamboat Springs, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s President and COO added,
