SKY express has today announced a new interline partnership with Transavia, building on existing partnerships with American Airlines, Air Serbia, Qatar Airways, Air France, KLM, Middle East Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Condo EL AL and easyJet.
On Tuesday (March 1, 2022), SKY express announced the signing of a new interline agreement with Transavia, an airline of the Air France-KLM Group. Transavia operates over 100 routes from France and the Netherlands to Europe and the Mediterranean basin, while SKY express offers service to 24 Greek destinations and important European gateways. With the new agreement, SKY express adds Transavia to their existing commercial partners including American Airlines, Air Serbia, Qatar Airways, Air France, KLM, Middle East Airlines (MEA), Cyprus Airways, Condor, EL AL and easyJet. The new interline partnership will allow customers of SKY express and Transavia to book a single ticket to destinations across both networks.
In Tuesday’s announcment, SKY express’ Commercial Director, Mr. Yannis Lidakis, said,
“We want to thank Transavia for our cooperation. We continue our systematic effort and this gives us the opportunity to have more new collaborations with important companies in our area. The cooperation strengthens our strategy, the main goal of which is to offer our passengers more options, but also to strengthen the potential of our country as a dynamic travel destination.”
Transavia operates over 100 routes from France (Paris, Nantes, Lyon and Montpellier) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam/The Hague, Eindhoven and Groningen) to Europe and the Mediterranean basin. The carrier was the first LCC to operate from Paris-Orly and the second low-cost airline to operate from Paris-Beauvais and Roissy. Transavia employs over 1,700 team members in France and carried over 16.6 million passengers in 2019.
