On Monday (October 6, 2025), Riyadh Air announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uber to establish a strategic long-term partnership.  The collaboration aims to deliver an industry leading end-to-end travel experience for travelers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and around the world.  The agreement was signed at the Boeing factory in Charleston, South Carolina, with Riyadh Air’s first aircraft as the backdrop to celebrate the occasion.


This partnership is just that latest step in Riyadh Air’s plan to deliver best-in-class service throughout the guest experience, and brings together two companies committed to facilitating a convenient and stress-free guest experience.  The collaboration reflects the carrier’s commitment to setting new industry benchmarks by combining innovation, convenience, and premium service at every touchpoint of the traveler journey.


Launching by the end of 2025, Riyadh Air is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s new world-class national carrier.  The airline plans on eventually operating a fleet of 182 aircraft, including 60 Airbus A321neos, 50 A350-1000s, and 72 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, serving over 100 global destinations by 2030.  Created with an authentically native, bold and modern vision with digital innovation at the core, Riyadh Air is ushering in a new era of air travel.  Wholly owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), the airline is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 in shaping the future of aviation and enhancing connectivity to and from the Kingdom.  Riyadh Air is blending advanced technology with warm Saudi hospitality, with the goal of setting new standards for seamless guest-centric travel.
