The carrier’s new Student Club is powered by Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club loyalty program and will provide a range of tailored benefits throughout a student’s educational journey.
On Monday (November 16, 2020), Qatar Airways announced the launch of ‘Student Club’ which will provide tailored benefits to students throughout their educational journey. The program is powered by the carrier’s Privilege Club loyalty program and will provide great savings and bespoke benefits such as special fares, extra baggage allowances, flight date change flexibility, complimentary onboard Super Wi-Fi and more. Student Club members will automatically be enrolled in Qatar Airways Privilege Club where they will receive even greater awards such as a tier upgrade as a graduation gift and an opportunity to earn 5,000 Qmiles for referring an eligible friend. In Monday’s announcement, Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said,
“Our brand new Student Club is designed specifically with students’ needs in mind. Travel is an important part of their life, with many choosing to study abroad for the duration of their university career or for a semester. We also know that the long university vacations are a wonderful opportunity for students to visit family or friends or simply to explore the world. Having listened to the needs of our current student passengers, we are delighted to help them to aim for the skies with our Student Club.”
New Student Club members will receive a digital card which they can store in their mobile wallet or Qatar Airways mobile app. Eligibility includes all full and part-time students between the ages of 18 and 30 and customers can join the program by clicking here.
