Qatar Airways Announces Seven New Destinations at ITB Berlin 2023

At the opening day of ITB Berlin 2023 on Tuesday, Qatar Airways announced the launch of service to seven new destinations, the resumption of 11 routes, and 25 route frequency increases.

On Tuesday (March 7, 2023), From ITB Berlin 2023, the world’s largest international travel and tourism trade show, Qatar Airways announced the launch of service to seven new destinations, including Chittagong, Juba, Kinshasa, Lyon, Medan, Toulouse and Trabzon. The carrier is also resuming flights to 11 destinations, including Birmingham, Buenos Aires, Casablanca, Davao, Marrakesh, Nice, Osaka, Phnom Penh, Ras Al-Khaimah, and Tokyo-Haneda. Additionally, Qatar Airways will increase frequencies on over 35 routes. In total, the airline will offer over 655 more weekly flights for summer 2023 compared to summer 2022.


Speaking at ITB Berlin on Tuesday, Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said,

Qatar Airways welcomes all ITB Berlin guests to visit their exhibition pavilion Hall 2.2, stand 208, 208A from March 7th through 9th, 2023. The airline’s exhibit includes a Formula 1® sports car simulator experience, showcasing their most recent sponsorship announcement. Additionally, FC Bayern Munich legend Claudio Pizzaro will make a special appearance.
