On Friday (May 30, 2025), Orlando International Airport (MCO) announced the introduction of two new moving walkways in Terminal C.  Installed just beyond the TSA security checkpoint, the walkways provide an express lane to Terminal C’s stunning Palm Court, which features the Florida sunshine, as well as over 30 retail, food and beverage concessions.  The 132-feet walkways span from the checkpoint to the Palm Court, with primarily one-way pedestrian traffic, and feature sloped on and off ramps to meet the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.  TK Elevator (TKE) and Clancy & Theys collaborated on the project.

In a separate project, the Pedestrian Bridge will also have a set of bidirectional moving walkways when it opens this summer.  These walkways will initially be 90 feet, but will be extended once the entire project, including the Rental Car Lobby, opens in 2026.  The new Pedestrian Bridge will be a welcome convenience for passengers who use Garage C for access between Terminal C, the Train Station, and the Terminal Link, which provides a connections to Terminals A and C.  Originally, the moving walkways were included in the design for Terminal C, but were removed as a cost saving measure during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
