Norwegian Announces Eight New Routes for Summer 2026

Norwegian Air Shuttle has today announced the launch of eight new routes from Norway, Sweden and Denmark for the summer 2026 season.

On Wednesday (September 24, 2025), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced the launch of eight new routes for summer 2026.  From Oslo, the carrier will offer new service to Tangier (Morocco) and Palermo in Sicily.  Tangier flights will operate once weekly on Mondays from June 22, 2026, while Palermo service will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting June 20, 2025.  From Bergen, Norwegian will launch new service to Riga (Latvia) and Palanga (Lithuania).  Both routes will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays from March 31, 2026 until the end of October.  Additionally, Norwegian is opening three new routes from Sweden, between Stockholm Arlanda and Milan Malpensa as well as Hamburg, and between Gothenburg and Tirana.  From Denmark, the carrier is launching new nonstop service between Copenhagen to Cluj (Romania).


In Wednesday’s announcement, Norwegian’s Commercial Director, Magnus Thome Maursund, said,


“For the summer of 2026, we will open two new routes from Bergen and two from Oslo.  We are continuously assessing how we can develop our route network and offer customers more attractive destinations.  The route to Tangier is our third to Morocco, and comes in addition to the routes to Marrakech and Agadir, which have been particularly popular during the winter months.”


Norwegian is a leading Nordic aviation group headquartered in Fornebu in Bærum.
