Northern Pacific Airways has announced their intention to operate under a new name, New Pacific Airlines, pending regulatory approval. Operations will continue to operate uninterrupted, with current service between Ontario, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.
On Friday (September 8, 2023) Northern Pacific Airways announced that they intend to operate under a new name, New Pacific Airlines, pending approval by regulators. New Pacific originally announced plans to launch service to Asia via Anchorage, Alaska, but has started by offering flights between Ontario, California and Los Angeles, as they fine tune their operations, onboard service and inflight amenities. The airline also offers their fleet of 181-seat Boeing 757-200s for charter anywhere in North America.
In Friday’s announcement, New Pacific Airlines’ CEO and Chief Financial Officer, Rob McKinney, said,
“New Pacific’s updated name symbolizes our brand’s bold and decisive pivot. The word ‘new’ speaks to modern-day navigators driven by both purpose and aspiration, where the romance and grandeur of the Pacific Ocean meet the heart of exploration and discovery. Our home is in the majestic landscapes of Alaska and we continue to draw inspiration from the people of our great state. We would like to welcome you to New Pacific, where every flight is an opportunity to experience the world anew.”
Based in Anchorage, Alaska, New Pacific Airlines is committed to offering guests an exceptional travel experience. The carrier currently offers three daily flights between Ontario, California (ONT) near Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS). Flights depart Ontario three times weekly on Sundays, Thursdays and Fridays at 14:00 and arrive in Las Vegas at 15:00. Return flights depart Las Vegas three times weekly on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. New Pacific Airlines operates a fleet of 181-seat Boeing 757-200s, which are also available for charter anywhere in North America.
