On Tuesday (June 18, 2024), Norse Atlantic Airways announced the signing of a new agreement with Italian carrier Neos, which is part of Alpitour World.  Under the agreement, Norse will operate a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on  behalf of Neos from Milan Malpensa with weekly flights to Zanzibar and Mombasa, La Romana and Montego Bay and Dubai, as well as from Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino to Madagascar.  The agreement will run from December 18, 2024, through April 1st, 2025.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Norse Atlantic Airways’ Founder and CEO, Bjørn Tore Larsen, said,

“I am very pleased that Neos and Norse Atlantic have signed this important agreement for a substantial number of flying hours during the winter 2024/2025 season.  We have forged a strong partnership with Neos building on our previous charter operations with the company. This longer-term agreement is a testament to the quality and reliability of our charter and ACMI capabilities.”

Also commenting on the new agreement, Neos’ Commercial Director, Aldo Sarnataro, added,

“We are pleased with this important collaboration with Norse Atlantic Airways, which represents a further growth opportunity for our business.  A new aircraft in our fleet will allow us to guarantee our customers the operational stability that distinguishes us, even in periods of high season, always offering excellent quality standards and high-level services thanks to the fact that their on-board staff also speak Italian.”

Founded in March 2021 by major shareholder and CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen, Norse Atlantic Airways offers affordable transatlantic and European flights.  The airline’s first flight between Oslo and the U.S. departed on June 14, 2022.  The company’s head office is located in Arendal, Norway, and Norse has a second office in London.  Norse has a fleet of 15 modern, fuel-efficient Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.  The carrier offers service to New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Bangkok, Cape Town, Oslo, Athens, London, Berlin, Rome and Paris.
