Luxair Launches Service to Dubai, Announces Summer 2022 Service to the German Island of Sylt
Luxair has announced the launch of service to Dubai starting September 29, 2021. After great success to Rostock and Usedom on the German Baltic coast, the carrier will also offer service to Sylt next summer, the largest on the northerly German islands in the North Sea.
On Friday (September 17, 2021), Luxair announced the launch of service to Dubai starting September 29, 2021. Guests will have convenient access to Dubai Expo 2020, the first ever World Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia Region. Dubai Expo 2020 will officially open on October 1st, 2021, and Luxair is offering their customers from Luxembourg and the greater region the opportunity to discover this highly-anticipated event, which runs through March 2022. Luxair guests who have already booked, or will book, their Business Class flight or travel package with LuxairTours will be gifted with a multi-day entry pass. The ticket allows unlimited entries to Expo Dubai 2020 for thirty consecutive days from the first day of ticket use.
Additionally, Luxair has announced the addition of Sylt, the most northerly of the German islands in the North Sea, to their summer 2022 schedule. Sylt which is located near Denmark is known as the ‘German Hamptons’ a reference to the eastern end of Long Island in New York (U.S.), where the elite take refuge. The surprisingly picturesque 40km island offers the longest uninterrupted stretches of pristine beaches in Europe. Starting May 21, 2022, Luxair guests will be able to discover the 12 villages of Sylt and enjoy magnificent views and endless fields of bright yellow colza flowers.
