Lufthansa Group Partners With TripActions to Shape Corporate Travel Future
The Lufthansa Group, an industry pioneer in the area of New Distribution Capacity (NDC), and TripActions, the only all-in-one travel, corporate card and expense solution, have announced an enhanced strategic partnership to shape the future of corporate travel.
On Wednesday (December 8, 2021), The Lufthansa Group announced the launch of a new partnership with TripActions. Jointly, a customer-driven solution has been developed which will allow small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to enjoy all the benefits they experience from the Lufthansa Group Airlines (Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa and SWISS) via the TripActions travel platform. The solution matches the rich corporate offers and programs of the Lufthansa Group airlines with the user-first intuitive solutions of TripActions to relieve the multiple ‘pain points’ of corporate travel.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Lufthansa Group’s SVP Channel Management at Group
Network Airlines and SWISS Chief Commercial Officer, Tamur Goudarzi Pour, said,

Also commenting on the partnership with TripActions, Lufthansa Group Network Airlines’ SVP of Sales and Chief Commercial Officer for Lufthansa, Stefan Kreuzpaintner, said,

Customers will now be able to book work travel using an industry-leading solution that includes policy and profile management, duty of care, sustainability solution, real0time reporting, 24/7 customer support and centralized billing. Additionally, the partnership will enable corporate members of Lufthansa Group’s PartnerPlusBenefit program to earn and redeem points directly through the booking tool, with enhanced functionalities being launched regularly. As a first step, the solution will be launched in the home markets of the Group’s airlines in early 2022, and over the course of the year, both teams will work together to add enhancements. These will include additional redemption benefits, corporate products, and multiple languages, as well as expansion into new markets.
