Korean Air Reports Second Quarter 2023 Net Income of $283 Million

Korean Air has reported a non-consolidated second quarter 2023 net income of KRW 371.5 billion (US $283 million) on a year-over-year decrease in revenue of 6.0 percent to KRW 3,535.4 billion (US $2.7 billion).

On Wednesday (August 2, 2023), Korean Air reported their non-consolidated second quarter financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2023. The carrier reported a second quarter net income of KRW 371.5 billion (US $283 million) on a 6.0 percent year-over-year decline in revenue to KRW 3,535.4 billion (US $2.7 billion). Korean Air Cargo’s revenue decreased 56 percent versus the same period last year to KRW 963.8 billion (US $741 million) on a decline in freight demand due to increased passenger aircraft belly-hold capacity.
