Today, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced that they will initiate a careful and gradual restoration of their European network. From May 4, 2020 daily service will be resumed to Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Milan, Budapest, Prague, Warsaw and Helsinki. The flights will be operated with Embraer aircraft and the carrier has joined most global airlines in requiring guests to wear face masks, which will be compulsory from May 11, 2020. KLM plans on restoring around 15 percent of their flights in May, compared to the pre-pandemic period. The company continues to operate numerous cargo-only intercontinental flights.
