JetBlue completed their first flight to Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell, Montana on Thursday (July 1st, 2021). Kalispell is in the Flathead Valley and serves as the gateway to the world-renowned Glacier National Park and beyond.
On Friday (July 2, 2021), JetBlue announced the completion of their inaugural flight to Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) in Kalispell, Montana, which took place yesterday (July 1st). Located in the Flathead Valley, Kalispell serves as the gateway to the world-famous Glacier National Park and surrounding Rocky Mountain areas with numerous lakes, hiking and biking trails, offering endless outdoor activities. JetBlue will offer three weekly flights on the route from New York-JFK on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, through September 7, 2021.
In Friday’s announcement, JetBlue Airways’ Vice President of Network Planning, Andrea Lusso, said,
“As we identify new markets in our network, we continue to see great interest and demand for destinations where travelers can experience the scenic outdoors and wide open spaces, especially our famed national parks. Connecting our customers to the gateway to Glacier National Park and the rest of the Flathead Valley shows we are listening to current travel trends and responding by connecting these destinations to our focus cities.”
Also commenting on the new service, Glacier Park International Airport’s Director, Rob Ratkowski, added,
“We are excited to add JetBlue to the GPIA family. As interest in the Flathead Valley continues to grow, we are pleased that JetBlue is providing increased opportunity for visitors to enjoy this beautiful area.”
JetBlue’s new Kalispell service complements the carrier’s existing service at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) in Montana. Beyond the direct service between New York-JFK and Kalispell, the new route provides seamless connections between Kalispell across JetBlue’s network in the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America. The JFK-Kalispell route will be serviced with an Airbus A320 offering JetBlue’s award-winning service, more legroom in coach, free fly-Fi connectivity, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free live DIRECTV® and SiriusXM® radio at every seat.
