In Monday’s announcement, ITA Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Emiliana Limosani, said,
“We are happy to have signed this important commercial agreement with Air Europa, a key partner for the development of ITA Airways in Spain, an important market for us. As part of the new codeshare partnership, ITA Airways will place their ‘AZ’ code on flights operated by Air Europa between Italy and Spain. Likewise, Air Europa will place their marketing code on ITA Airways’ flights between Barcelona, Madrid and Rome.
