From April 2022, Iberia will expand their U.S. flight schedule with new service from Madrid to Dallas, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., complementing existing service to New York, Miami, Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles.
On Monday (November 8, 2021) Iberia announced an expansion of their U.S. flying program from April 2022 with new service from Madrid to Dallas, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The carrier currently serves New York, Miami, Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles, and under their North American joint business alliance (JBA) with American Airlines, British Airways and Finnair, Iberia offers a global network linking more than 400 destinations in 100 nations of Europe, and North America, including Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
With the additional flights from next spring, Iberia will serve nine U.S. gateways.
During the current winter 2021/22 season schedule, Iberia has scheduled 70 weekly flights between Spain and the U.S., the same number as before the onset of the pandemic. The airline is currently offering 10 weekly return flights to New York and Miami, five weekly flights to Chicago, and three weekly flights to both Boston and Los Angeles. Iberia also offers four weekly flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico, a destination included in their North Atlantic JBA.
