Frontier Airlines and Barclays U.S. Consumer Bank will offer no annual fee for the first year on the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard®. New cardmembers can also earn up to 50,000 bonus miles after qualifying purchases.
On Monday (May 3, 2021), Frontier Airlines and Barclays U.S. Consumer Bank announced the launch of a new introductory benefit for new Frontier Airlines World Mastercard® cardholders. Starting May 4, 2021, New cardholders will enjoy no annual fee for the first year, which will be $79/year thereafter. Additionally, cardholders can earn up to 50,000 miles after making qualifying purchases. The Frontier Airlines World Mastercard offers several ways to earn miles with a simple 5-3-1 earning structure. Cardholders earn 5x FRONTIER MILES on eligible purchases on the airline’s website, 3x on restaurant purchases and 1x on all other purchases. The Frontier Airlines World Mastercard has also been named Money.com’s “Best Airline Credit Card” for 2021.

Frontier Airlines World Mastercard cardholders can also earn one Qualifying Mile per dollar spent towards Elite Status and unlock the benefit of Family Pooling to share miles with up to eight family members and friends. Cardmembers will also earn a $100 flight voucher on each account anniversary year after spending 2,500 during the membership year. Additionally, members can keep miles from expiring by making one purchase every six months and can earn an award redemption fee waiver when they book an award ticket and pay the related taxes and fees, starting at $5.60 for a one-way ticket. Cardholders also receive Zone 2 priority boarding, no foreign transaction fees and a low introductory APR on balance transfers.
