Frontier Airlines has launched twice weekly service between Miami and Guatemala City. The start of today’s service marks the airline’s return to Central America and their 30th nonstop destination from Miami International Airport.

On Monday (April 12, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of inaugural service between Miami (MIA) and Guatemala City (GUA), which will operate twice weekly. Today’s flight marks Frontier’s return to Central America and expands their number of nonstop routes from Miami International Airport to 30. Celebrating the launch of the new route, Frontier is offering one-way fares from only $42* for tickets booked by April 21st for travel through June 17, 2021 (round-trip booking not required).
In Monday’s route announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Director of Public Relations and Marketing, Michael Pewther, said,
“The start of new nonstop service between Miami and Guatemala City is a momentous occasion for Frontier and our customers. Frontier has exponentially grown in destinations and weekly flights at Miami International Airport and our ‘Low Fares Done Right’ approach has made it more affordable to fly to and from Miami’s hometown airport. Connecting these two thriving cities opens countless new opportunities for families and friends to visit and people to explore these incredibly vibrant destinations.”
