flydubai has added Bodrum and Trabzon in Turkey to their seasonal summer schedule, expanding their network to 78 destinations in 46 countries. The new service to Bodrum and Trabzon complement the carrier’s existing service to Istanbul.
On Sunday (April 18, 2021), flydubai announced an expansion of their summer 2021 schedule with service to Bodrum and Trabzon in Turkey, complementing the carrier’s existing service to Istanbul. The additional summer seasonal routes will expand flydubai’s network to 78 destinations in 46 countries. Flights to Bodrum, the gateway to the Turkish Riviera, will operate twice weekly from June 4th through September 1st, 2021. flydubai will offer three weekly fights to Trabzon, a popular destination on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey, from May 13th through September 1st, 2021.
Commenting on the new routes, flydubai’s Senior Vice President – Commercial Operations and E-commerce, Jeyhun Efendi, said,
“We recognise that since the pandemic it has not been possible for our customers to travel as much as they would have liked. Adding Bodrum and Trabzon to our seasonal schedule will provide passengers with more options to travel this summer. On Tuesday (April 20, 2021) flydubai announced the addition of Batumi, Georgia to their summer 2021 seasonal schedule. The route to Batumi International Airport (BUS) will operate three times weekly from May 12th through September 1, 2021. The new serviced to Batumi complements flydubai’s existing service to Tbilisi International Airport in Georgia.
Commenting on the route addition, flydubai’s Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations and E-Commerce, Jeyhun Efendi, added,
“We are pleased to relaunch our operations to Batumi which has been a popular summer destination for our passengers in previous years. We remain focused on adding more options for travel this summer with the expectation that international travel restrictions will have eased. Flights are available to book on flydubai.com. In addition, passengers will have the option to choose full packages from holidays by flydubai.”
Batumi is the second largest city in Georgia and is known as the ‘Pearl of the Black Sea.’ The city offers popular seaside resorts, stunning mountain vistas and a moderate climate, along with beaches, restaurants cafés, dancing fountains and its popular Ferris Wheel.
For summer 2021, flydubai will offer service to 79 destinations in 46 countries including seven points in Russia and popular holiday destinations including Baku, Bucharest, Colombo, the Maldives, Minsk Tbilisi, Tel Aviv, Tirana and Zanzibar. The new Bodrum and Trabzon routes will be codeshared with Emirates, providing travelers seamless connections via Dubai on both airlines to over 155 destinations in Australia, China, the Indian Ocean, Japan, South Asia and the United States.
