Flair Airlines will launch service from Toronto and Vancouver to Grand Prairie, Alberta, marking the carrier’s 20th destination. The new routes will launch in August, and to celebrate their newest destination, Flair is offering one-way fares from only $39.
On Wednesday (June 16, 2021), Flair Airlines announced the launch of service to their 20th destination, Grand Prairie, Alberta. Starting in August, Flair will offer nonstop service to Grand Prairie (YQU) from both Toronto (YYZ) and Vancouver (YVR). To celebrate the launch of the new routes, the airline is offering one-way fares between Vancouver and Grand Prairie from $39, and one-way flights between Toronto and Grand Prairie from $49. Flights on both routes will be operated twice weekly with Vancouver flights on Mondays and Fridays from August 2nd, and Toronto flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting August 4, 2021.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Flair Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Garth Lund, said,
“Canadians are tired of being gouged for air travel and Flair is excited to bring our low fares to a fourth Alberta market. Flair continues to deliver tremendous value to underserved communities where restoring affordable regional travel will help reignite the Canadian economy.”
Flair’s fleet is growing with the addition of 13 new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, joining their existing fleet of Boeing 737-800s.
Flair Airlines is Canada’s only independent ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) and the company’s mission is to make travel accessible and affordable for all Canadians. The airline operates a growing fleet of Next Generation Boeing 737-800s and 737-8s, and will serve 20 destinations across Canada by August 2021.
