Finnair Adds Flights to Nordic Destinations for Peak Summer Season 2024

For summer 2024, Finnair has added flights to Nordic holiday destinations with more flights to Bodø and Trondheim in Norway, to Ivalo, Kittilä and Kuusamo in Finland, and to Visby in Sweden.

On Friday (January 19, 2024), Finnair announced the addition of flights to popular Nordic holiday destinations for the 2024 peak summer season between the end of June and August.  The carrier will restore service to Bodø, which is located above the Arctic Circle in Norway, with five weekly flights from June 17th through August 2nd.  Finnair is also adding flights to Trondheim, Norway, with 10 weekly flights from June through the end of August, as well as to Kuusamo, Ivalo and Kittilä in Northern Finland for the season. 


Additionally, the airline will offer five weekly flights to Visby in Gotland, Sweden, from the end of June until early August.


In Friday’s announcement, Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ole Orvér, said,


“Northern Europe with its fresh air and beautiful nature attracts travelers who see authentic experiences.  We offer holiday travelers excellent connections across the Nordics with smooth connections via our Helsinki hub.”
