On Thursday, Etihad Airways announced a new partnership with loyalty and travel consolidator Aimia’s Air Miles Middle East program. Air Miles Middle East members will now be able to exchange their miles for Etihad Guest miles.
Etihad Airways announced on Thursday a new partnership between their award-winning Etihad Guest loyalty program and Air Miles Middle East, a loyalty program owned and operated by Aimia, Inc. The new initiative will allow Air Miles Middle East members to exchange their miles for Etihad Guest Miles. In Thursday’s announcement, Etihad Airways’ Vice President of Commercial Partnerships, Yasser Al Yousuf said,
“We are constantly exploring new collaborations that provide added value to travellers. By partnering with the Air Miles Middle East programme, we are proud to yet again introduce more benefits to our mutual members by offering access to Etihad Guest’s inspiring range od travel and lifestyle rewards.”
With the new partnership, Air Miles Middle East members can transfer up to nine Air Miles for one Etihad Guest Mile Etihad Guest Miles can be redeemed for Etihad flights, flight upgrades, hotels, holiday packages and a range of over 3,000 products in Etihad’s Reward Shop. Also commenting on Thursday’s announcement, Aimia’s President – Europe, Middle East and Africa, Paul Lacey added,
“With this partnership, we are very excited to offer our Air Miles Middle East members with more opportunities to redeem their miles for flights and upgrades with Etihad Guest, and is part of our focus to continue to provide our members with an extensive range of products and services to redeem their Air Miles.”
Etihad Guest program Silver, Gold and Platinum Guests receive a personalized travel experience and a range of benefits, including a discount of up to 75 percent when pre-selecting Standard Economy and Economy Space seats on Etihad flights.
