Emirates will resume four weekly flights to the resort island of Phuket in Thailand starting July 2, 2021, and travelers who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be required to quarantine upon arrival. The route will be serviced with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER.
On Wednesday (June 2, 2021), Emirates announced the resumption of four weekly flights to Phuket in Thailand from July 2, 2021. Travelers tot the popular resort island will not be required to quarantine upon arrival if they have been vaccinated against COVID-19. The route between Dubai and Phuket will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER configured with First, Business and Economy Class cabins. Flights will be offered on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with Emirates flight EK378 departing Dubai at 0:300 and Arriving at Phuket International Airport the same day at 12:30. The return flight, EK379 departs Phuket on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays at 00:10 and arrives in Dubai at 03:05 the same day (all times local).
Phuket is a popular holiday destination for travelers from the Middle East, Europe and beyond and the new service complements Emirates’ existing daily service to Bangkok, which resumed in September 2020. The carrier has been rebuilding their network and currently offers service to over 120 destinations, with seamless connections to the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific via Dubai.
