On Wednesday (June 10, 2026), easyJet announced that they have taken delivery of their 100th Airbus A320neo Family aircraft in Hamburg.  The carrier marks this milestone with the introduction of Airbus’ latest Airspace cabin on this and all future A320neo Family deliveries.  The aircraft will also be fitted with new LED lighting to optimize landings, reducing drag, weight and emissions.  Onboard, the cabin features improved lighting and a refined color palette across all furnishings, new colored galley lighting, and improved accessibility with braille indicators on seat row placards to help visually impaired customers locate their seats.  Additionally, easyJet will be retrofitting 81 A320neo and A321neo aircraft with the Airspace cabin enhancements.

In Wednesday’s announcement, easyJet’s Chief Operating Officer, David Morgan, said,

The arrival of our 100th A320neo Family aircraft is a significant milestone for easyJet.  These aircraft are at the heart of our strategy to operate a more efficient fleet and reduce our environmental impact, while continuing to enhance the travel experience for our customers and crews alike.”

Also commenting on the landmark aircraft delivery, Airbus’ Head of Commercial Aircraft – Europe, Johan Pelissier, said,

“The delivery of the 100th A320neo reflects the shared DNA of innovation between Airbus and EasyJet.  By integrating the world’s most efficient single-aisle aircraft at this scale, we are doing more than expanding a partnership.  We are actively redefining the future of sustainable aviation. We are proud to provide the wings for easyJet’s growth and to stand together in our commitment to leading the decarbonisation of our skies.”

Aero engine manufacturer CFM International’s President and CEO, Gaël Méheust, added,

“On behalf of the CFM Team worldwide, I extend our warmest congratulations to easyJet on the delivery of its 100th LEAP-1A-powered Airbus A320neo Family aircraft.  This milestone reflects more than 25 years of trusted partnership.  Our promise for the next 25 years and beyond is to continue to provide the level of quality and support easyJet has come to expect from CFM.”

With this addition, easyJet’s fleet stands at 359 aircraft, with new-technology ‘neo’ aircraft representing over 25 percent of the total.  The Airbus A320neo Family delivers up to 20 percent lower fuel burn and CO₂ emissions per seat, alongside up to a 50 percent noise reduction compared to previous generation aircraft.  Powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, the A320neo Family is currently capable of operating on up to 50 percent Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), with a pathway to 100 percent by 2030.
