On Tuesday (December 5, 2023), Discover Airlines announced progress on their rebranding.  By Christmas, a third of the fleet, including seven Airbus A320s and one A330 will have been repainted, while a total of 17 will sport the new livery by mid-2024.  This includes the addition of four more A320s and the carrier’s 13th A330, which will join the leisure airline’s fleet by summer 2024.  By the beginning of 2025, Discover Airlines plans on expanding their fleet to a total of 28 aircraft.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Discover Airlines’ Director – Product & Marketing, Maximilian Meintgens, said,

“Despite many dependencies, such as the availability of painting slots, supply chains or possible irregularities in daily flight operations, we are on schedule with the rollout.  It is important to us that the transition runs smoothly and that we can reliably fly our guests on their holidays with the usual quality.”

Additionally, on December 1st, 2023, crew members received new uniform accessories, while over 60 items were exchanged in inflight catering and the cabin, including menus, glasses, headrest covers, pillows and blankets.  Cabin interiors, including curtains and seat covers will also be further customized in the coming months.  From December through January, the airline is also running their second major advertising program with posters, online advertising and radio adverts.  The second campaign will cover the Rhine-Main region, as well as Munich, as Discover will be taking off from Munich with five A320s to over 20 holiday destinations for summer 2024.
