Delta Airlines has named Scott Laurence as the airline’s new Vice President of Network Planning starting January 18, 2021. Mr. Laurence is an airline industry veteran and joins Delta from JetBlue where he served most recently as Head of Revenue and Planning.
On Monday (January 10, 2022), Delta Air Lines announced the appointment of Scott Laurence as the carrier’s new Vice President of Network Planning, effective January 18, 2022. Mr. Laurence will report directly to Joe Esposito, Senior Vice President – Network Planning. In his new role, Laurence will work to further strengthen Delta’s global network and joint venture partnerships, while positioning the airline for continued success and long-term growth. Scott Laurence is an airline industry veteran and joins Delta from JetBlue, where he most recently served as Head of Revenue Planning. In his role at JetBlue, Laurence was responsible for spearheading the strategic Northeast Alliance codeshare and loyalty integration between JetBlue and American Airlines.
In Monday’s announcement, Delta Air Lines’ Senior Vice President – Network Planning, Joe Esposito, said,
“Scott is well-positioned and brings a tremendous wealth of experience to build on Delta's leading global network. Combined with his innovative, strategic mindset and a spirit of servant leadership, he is a great fit for the Delta team.”
Prior to spending nearly 14 years with JetBlue, Mr. Laurence worked for United Airlines in various management positions including Senior Manager – Revenue Management & Pricing Promotion/Network Planning & Strategy, and Director – Pacific Revenue Management. Before joining United in 1999, he worked as an analyst for U.S. Airways for five years. Laurence holds a B.S. in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
