From March 2025, Delta Air lines will add new nonstop service between Austin and Panama City (Florida), Indianapolis (Indiana), Memphis (Tennessee), San Francisco (California), and Tampa (Florida).
On Monday (September 30, 2024), Delta Air Lines announced the launch of five new nonstop routes from Austin (AUS) starting March 2025, including service to Panama City (ECP), Indianapolis (IND), Memphis (MEM), San Francisco (SFO) and Tampa (TPA).
In Monday’s announcement, Delta Air Lines’ SVP – Network Planning, Joe Esposito, said,
“Delta has made its commitment to Austin known, and these new routes and the 55 peak-day departures planned for Summer 2025 reaffirm that. This is on top of the already 20% seat capacity increase we put into service in April connecting Austin to new destinations in major corporate and leisure markets both within Texas and outside the state — onward throughout our global network.”
Also commenting on the carrier’s Austin expansion, Delta’s VP – Los Angeles and Sales-West, Scott Santoro, added,
“We continue to listen and respond to what Austin needs as it grows, and we have a dedicated corporate and agency sales team at the ready to get all customers to, from and through this crucial tech and business destination.”
Delta’s Austin-Panama City route will operate daily by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest from March 9th with an Embraer E175 featuring First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin options. The new exclusive service from Austin to both Memphis and Indianapolis will start on May 7th, with both routes operating daily by SkyWest with a three-class Embraer E175. Daily service from Austin to San Francisco and Tampa will both commence on June 8th with a state-of-the-art Delta mainline Airbus A220-300 equipped with First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin.
