Condor will today resume service to Zanzibar and Mombasa, while flights to Cape Town will restart on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. In the early evening, flight DE2282 will depart for the group of islands off the coast of East Africa, and then continue on to Mombasa.

On Friday (September 30, 2022), Condor announced the resumption of service to Zanzibar and Mombasa. Flight DE2282 will depart in the early evening today for the group of islands off the coast of East Africa, and continuing service to Mombasa in Kenya. The carrier will also restart flights to Cape Town in South Africa from Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Service to the three destinations was last offered in early 2020. Condor will offer service from Frankfurt to Zanzibar and Mombasa twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays, while Cape Town flights will be served directly from Frankfurt three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Mombasa (Kenya) serves as an ideal starting point for roundtrips to explore some of Africa’s most famous national parks and natural wonders, including the Masai Mara and Mount Kilimanjaro. From Mombasa, the dream holiday destination of Zanzibar is just a short flight away. The Tanzanian archipelago offers picturesque beaches, serving as a nice contrast to the African steppe landscape. Located at the foot of the impressive Table Mountain, Cape Town is known above all for the unique scenery and features beautiful beaches, rugged coastlines, botanical gardens, vineyards and so much more.

In addition to African destinations, Condor has also resumed service to some Indian Ocean destinations, including the Seychelles and the Maldives. Flights to the Seychelles are offered once weekly on Fridays, while service to the Maldives operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
