Condor has announced the signing of a new codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways that will enhance connectivity between Germany and Abu Dhabi.

On Friday (December 5, 2025), Condor announced that launch of a new codeshare partnership with Etihad Airways. Under the agreement, Condor will broaden their Middle East network and has also announced their first Airbus A330neo operation to the Gulf region in summer 2026 with daily nonstop service between Frankfurt (FRA) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) from May 2026. This will be followed by daily operations from Berlin (BER) with an Airbus A320neo starting mid-June 2026. The flights will be operated in a codeshare with Etihad Airways. Additionally, the new codeshare agreement will provide seamless connections at Etihad’s growing Abu Dhabi hub.
In Friday’s announcement, Condor’s Commercial Director and Member of the Executive Committee, Jens Boyd, said,
“This codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways is the great foundation on which we are building our new services to Abu Dhabi to better connect Germany’s capital Berlin and Europe’s financial hub Frankfurt to the GCC and beyond. As we build and expand connectivity within Europe from our home hub in Frankfurt, this first codeshare in Asia is one more step towards Condor becoming a true global player and partnering with the leading airlines across the globe.”
Also commenting on the new codeshare partnership, Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Arik De, said,
“We are delighted to announce this partnership with Condor and welcome their new services to Abu Dhabi. Germany is a vital market for Etihad, and adding Berlin alongside new Frankfurt options meets clear passenger demand – including a direct capital-to-capital link that further strengthens UAE-Germany ties.”
