Cargolux has inaugurated new service to Shannon with the first flight landing directly from Seattle on Thursday, June 9, 2022. The weekly frequency will be routed Los Angeles-Seattle-Shannon-Luxembourg.
On Friday (June 10, 2022), Cargolux announced the launch of new service to Shannon, Ireland. The inaugural flight flew direct from Seattle to Shannon on Thursday, June 9, 2022, and the weekly frequency will be routed Los Angeles-Seattle-Shannon-Luxembourg, bolstering the carrier’s transatlantic network. Cargolux has been operating ad hoc flights into Shannon for several years and the new service will meet growing customer demand in the British Isles.
In Friday's announcement, Cargolux's Executive Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Domenico Ceci, said,
“This new frequency is a welcome development for Cargolux to connect with its global customers and expand services in the area. Shannon is a thriving commercial gateway, and we look forward to building our partnerships in the region.”
