Avianca to Resume London-Bogotá Service From March 27, 2022

Avianca will reactivate daily service between London and Bogotá starting March 27th, 2022. The route will be operated with a two-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner configured with an Executive Class cabin and Economy Class.

On Thursday (November 18, 2021), Avianca announced the resumption of daily service between London and Bogotá, Colombia from March 27, 2022. In October 2021, Avianca announced the selection of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner as their definitive long-haul aircraft. Avianca’s Dreamliner's are configured with two cabins including Executive Class and Economy Class. Tickets are now bookable at Avianca.com, through the Avianca app, physical points of sale and travel agencies.


In Thursday’s announcement, Avianca’s Vice President of Sales and Distribution, Catalina Nanning, said,


“We are pleased to resume direct flights between the United Kingdom and Colombia, offering more and better options to our customers traveling between Europe and Latin America. For our long-haul flights, we will maintain the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet with an executive cabin and an economy cabin. This offer, together with the customization options of the Tailored Made Flights scheme, will give our clients a first-rate experience.”

Avianca currently offers one of the most robust networks in Latin America with 100 routes and around 3,120 weekly flights, offering approximately 470,000 available seats weekly.
