Avianca is launching three weekly nonstop flights between Cali, Colombia and Orlando, Florida starting July 15, 2021. Customers from Cali will no longer have to stopover in Bogota when traveling to the popular amusement park capital of the U.S.

On Tuesday (June 1, 2021), Avianca announced the launch of three weekly nonstop flights between Cali, Colombia and Orlando, Florida starting July 15, 2021. Customers traveling from Cali will no longer have to stopover in Bogota when traveling to the popular Florida tourist destination. The new route is part of Avianca’s strategy to offer more direct flights to high demand North American destinations. The route will be operated with Airbus A320 Family aircraft, offering travelers over 3,000 monthly seats. Tickets are now available for purchase through all sales channels.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Avianca’s Managing Director for North America, Mexico and Asia, Rolando Damas, said,
“This new operation reflects our commitment to strengthening our network with direct flights, as well as a product that adapts to our client’s preferences. We will continue to expand our operation making it increasingly easy to fly and connect with more destinations in South America.”
Avianca is currently operating over 90 routes, offering more than 300,000 weekly seats to points in the Americas and Europe.
