Avelo Airlines Celebrates Two Years at Daytona Beach International Airport

Since launching service two years ago at Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), Avelo Airlines has flown more than 100,000 customers on over 800 flights to and from DAB.  To celebrate this milestone, the carrier if offering one-way fares from $49.

On Thursday (June 19, 2025), Avelo Airlines celebrated their second anniversary of service at Daytona Beach International Airport in Florida (DAB).  Since launching service at DAB in 2023, the airline has flown over 100,000 customers on more than 100,000 flights.  Currently, Avelo offers two nonstop routes from Daytona Beach, with service to Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Connecticut, and the Philadelphia / Delaware Valley region’s Wilmington Airport (ILG).  In celebration of this milestone, the carrier is currently offering one-way fares to/from DAB from only $49 (T&Cs apply).


In Thursday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Founder and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,


“Since arriving at DAB two years ago, Avelo has introduced travelers in the Daytona Beach area to a new era of affordability, convenience and industry-leading reliability.  Today’s milestone demonstrates the appeal our low fares, nonstop flights to popular destinations, and friendly service are having with travelers throughout the region.  It is also clear the fast and easy travel-friendly experience DAB offers has played an equally significant role in inspiring so many people to fly with us.”


Avelo Airlines was founded with the simple purpose to ‘Inspire Travel’, while saving customers time and money with nonstop flights and everyday low fares.  Since taking flight on April 28, 2021, the carrier has served over 7.0 million guests on more than 56,000 flights.  Avelo operates a fleet of 20 single-class Boeing 737NG airplanes.  The carrier currently serves 53 popular destinations across 21 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.


Avelo now operates from eight bases at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in California, Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Southern Connecticut, Orlando International Airport (MCO), Wilmington Philadelphia Regional Airport (ILG) in Delaware, Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina, and Las Vegas (LAS), Lakeland International Airport (LAL) in Central Florida, and Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA), and Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in North Carolina.
