ATR Appoints Antonio Di Gennaro as Senior Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer

ATR’s Board of Directors has appointed Antonio Di Gennaro as Senior Voce President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer effective July 1st, 2022. Mr. Di Gennaro joins ATR from PZL Świdnik, a Leonardo Helicopters company, where he served as CFO.

On Tuesday (July 12, 2022), ATR announced the appointment of Antonio Di Gennaro as Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer from July 1st, 2022. Mr. Di Gennaro brings over 15 years’ experience as a business leader in Finance and Operations, and joins ATR from PZL Świdnik, a Leonardo Helicopters company, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board. Previously, Antonio held several international positions in the Aerospace & Defense Industry in both the military and civil sectors, and has a strong background in Operations, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Sales. Mr. Di Gennaro started his career with Alenia Aermacchi, which merged with Leonardo in 2016.

Welcoming Antonio Di Gennaro to the company, ATR’s press release stated,

“ATR welcomes Antonio to this new position where he will bring true added value in supporting the leading aircraft manufacturer in its innovations and continuous development and in its purpose to connect people and businesses in a responsible way now and in the future.”

The company’s turboprop aircraft represent the optimal and most sustainable choice for regional deployment at the lowest operating costs, and offer the ability to serve isolated communities living near challenging airfields. Over the last decade, ATR has held 75 percent of the turboprop market and 36 percent of the overall regional aircraft market. ATR is a joint venture between Airbus and Leonardo.
