Atlas Air has extended their long-term aircraft transportation agreement to operate a Boeing 747-400 Freighter between China and the U.S. on behalf of SF Group, China’s leading express service provider.
On Thursday (January 20, 2022), Atlas Air, Inc., a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc., announced an extension of their long-term agreement with China’s leading express service provider, SF Group, to operate a Boeing 747-400 Freighter between China and the U.S. The agreement, which has been in place since 2018, provides additional capacity and operating capability to SF, as they expand their fast-growing global network.
In Thursday’s announcement, Atlas Air Worldwide’s President and Chief Executive Officer, John W. Dietrich, said,
“We are very pleased to extend our strong partnership with SF. SF is a key player in the growing express and e-commerce markets, and we look forward to supporting their rapid global expansion. We value the opportunity to continue providing the superior, reliable service that SF and its customers expect of Atlas.”
Also commenting on the long-term transportation services agreement, a representative from SF Group, added,
“Our partnership with Atlas Air supports our network between China and the U.S. to further integrate our high-quality transport capacity resources to shorten delivery times.”
Shenzhen, Guangdong, China-based SF Group is one of the largest integrated service providers in China and the fourth largest global express enterprise, in terms of market capitalization.
