On Wednesday (December 16, 2020), All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced the launch of their 2021 Premier Member Status campaign which will run through December 15, 2021. In addition to earning Premium Member Status by booking flights, ANA will become the first airline in the world which allows members to earn status through a variety of additional services. Previously status was only earned by the accrual of premium points earned through flying, but for 2021, ANA guests can acquire Premium Member Status via various touchpoints in their daily lives. The campaign is open to all ANA Mileage Club (ANC) members and Premium Member Status qualification requirements are outlined in the chart below.
*1 Premium Points earned on ANA Group operated flights between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. The conventional qualification requirements, where members earn a Premium Member Status solely by earning Premium Points through air travel will remain in place.
*2 Total amount of transactions by using ANA Cards and ANA Pay between December 16, 2020 and December 15, 2021. Transactions from ANA Cards to ANA Pay are not applicable for this campaign.
*3 Number of eligible ANA services used between December 16, 2020 and December 15, 2021. The conditions for counting the number of services may differ depending on the service used.
