The carrier has launched the ‘Our Greatest Gift is You’ promotion and is offering a gift to every AAdvantage member, just for their loyalty. Six lucky members will also receive 500,000 AAdvantage miles plus hotel accommodations.
Today (December 1, 2020), American Airlines announced the ‘Our Greatest Gift is You’ promotion, spreading holiday cheer to all AAdvantage members. Everyone can unwrap a holiday gift for just being a member and six lucky customers will win 500,000 AAdvantage miles plus hotel. Additionally, all AAdvantage members will be offered a personalized promotion to purchase travel in the new year. Starting December 2nd, after registering for the promotion, all AAdvantage members will virtually unwrap gifts including award miles, a complimentary Main Cabin Extra seat or an Admiral’s Club One-Day Pass. Members will receive an e-mail link to reveal their gift or they can log in and navigate to the Promotions tab in their AAdvantage account.
In Tuesday’s announcement, American Airlines AAdvantage President, Rick Elieson, said,
“Our members truly are our greatest gift. This holiday season, we’re giving every AAdvantage member a gift — it’s our way of showing thanks and appreciation for being why we fly — this year and every year.”
After registering for the promotion, AAdvantage members will also receive an exclusive personalized offer, encouraging them to take flight in 2021. Non-members can also take advantage of the promotion if they join the AAdvantage program by December 16, 2020. As previously mentioned, six lucky winners will receive 500,000 AAdvantage miles plus hotel accommodations. Five winners will win an all-inclusive four-night stay for themselves and a guest at Hyatt Ziva or Hyatt Zilara Resorts, while one lucky member will win a three-night stay with three guests at Universal’s Orlando Resort, including park passes.
