Alaska Airlines to Launch New Routes to Nassau, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta

Alaska Airlines to launch new service from Los Angeles and Seattle to Nassau, Bahamas starting December 15, 2023. The carrier will also add flights from Las Vegas to Puerta Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas from December 14th and 15, 2023, respectively.

On Tuesday (June 27, 2023), Alaska Airlines announced the launch of four new international routes for the winter 2023/24 season. The carrier will offer four weekly flights between Los Angeles and Nassau, as well as three weekly flights between Seattle and Nassau from December 15, 2023. Additionally, Alaska will launch four weekly flights between Las Vegas and Puerto Vallarta from December 14th, as well as four weekly flights to Cabo San Lucas starting December 15, 2023. The routes to the Bahamas will operate with a Boeing 737-9, while the Mexico routes will operate with an Embraer E175.


In Tuesday’s announcement, Alaska Airlines’ Vice President – Revenue Management and Network Planning, Kirsten Amrine, said,


“We’re excited to add a ‘new dot’ to our route map and believe our guests will appreciate the convenience of nonstop service to the Bahamas this winter. Whether our guests choose to stay in Nassau, or venture to the outer islands, the pristine beaches and crystal clear waters of the Bahamas await.”

Also commenting on the new Nassau routes, The Prime Minister of the Bahamas, Hon. Philip E. Davis, said,
