Alaska Airlines has today announced the opening of ticket sales for their new direct route between Seattle and London. Starting May 21, 2026, the year-round route will operate daily with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

On Tuesday (December 9, 2025), Alaska Air Group announced that tickets are now available for purchase for their new nonstop service between Seattle (SEA) and London Heathrow (LHR). The year-round route will operate daily starting May 21, 2026 with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Guests traveling to London will enjoy a new onboard global experience featuring lie-flat suites, enclosed suites and a multi-course menu in Business Class. Roundtrip airfares between Seattle and London are now available for purchase from $699. Alaska also recently launched ticket sales from Seattle to Rome and Reykjavik.
Flight times between Seattle and London have been optimized to allow guests to spend a whole day in either city before boarding their flights, a potential benefit for business travelers, as London is the largest corporate market from Seattle. Alaska Airlines will operate out of London Heathrow’s Terminal 3, which facilitates convenient connections to additional destinations across Europe and beyond on oneworld member airlines and other global partners.

Currently, Alaska offers daily year-round service from Seattle to Tokyo Narita, and five weekly year-round flights to Seoul Incheon. Daily summer-seasonal service to Rome and Reykjavik will start on April 28th and May 28, 2026, respectively. As previously mentioned, year-round daily direct service between Seattle and London Heathrow will commence on may 21, 2026.
By 2030, Alaska plans to serve at least 12 intercontinental destinations from Seattle, with additional routes to be announced in the years to come. The Group currently has four Boeing 787-9s in our fleet, with a fifth aircraft recently delivered.
