Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Members can now Convert Wallet Credit into Miles

For a limited time, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members who have wallet balances can convert their credits into miles, with $100 in wallet credit converting to 10,000 miles. The offer is available now through October 12, 2020 at 11:59 pm PT.

On Friday (October 9, 2020) Alaska Airlines announced a limited time offer which allows Mileage Plan members with wallet credits to convert their credits into miles, with $100 credit converting to 10,000 miles. Eligible members can convert their credits in increments of 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of their current wallet credit balance by logging into their Mileage Plan accounts. The limited time offer is available now through October 12, 2020 at 11:59 pm PT. Members will receive 100 miles for each $1 of wallet credit exchanged. Award travel starts at 5,000 miles for a one-way trip, not including taxes and fees from $5.60. In Friday’s announcement, Alaska Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Marketing and Guest Experience, Sangita Woerner, said,


"With award travel starting at 5,000 miles one-way on Alaska and the ability to book award trips to more than 800 destinations with our 16 Global Partners - as well as the addition of the oneworld® alliance in 2021 – this is a great way to start planning for future trips. Our Mileage Plan miles do not expire as long as members remain active, so when guests feel it is safe to return to travel, we will be there to welcome them on their long-awaited vacations."
